TRON: Legacy x Reebok Capsule Collection

TRON: Legacy and Reebok are among the upcoming brands collaborating on footwear to help promote the recent premiere of the movie. The pack of two sneakers includes Reebok’s most well-known lifestyle offerings, the PUMP Insta Fury and the Court Victory. Both models include the obvious in TRON-inspired aesthetics with digital graphics and a black/blue colorway.

Reebok 2011 Spring/Summer Insta Pump

Reebok returns with its Insta Pump for the Spring/Summer 2011 season. Part of a larger outdoors pack, this new take on the classic will pair leather and mesh uppers with beige tones. BEAMS x master-piece Nylon Daypack

Japanese companies BEAMS and master-piece team up on a new set of nylon daypacks. Featuring an embroidered monogram design, the daypacks are offered in both navy blue and black colorways, each with white contrast detailing and suede leather zip pulls, along with a nicely placed brand patch on the front pocket. Retail is set at ¥17,640 (Approx. $210 USD), with availability now through Beams.

As last weekend saw the release of the Michael Lau Crazymichael 12″ Figure in white, this week, a complimentary version to the original will also be unveiled. A Bathing Ape has had many ventures in consumer goods, but perhaps their most eclectic to date is their toted E-Smoker line. Brooks x Vans Vault Era LX

While Vans is definitely a skateboard sneaker company first and foremost that doesn’t mean that they can’t get involved with some of the other sports as well. Vans has always been known for their great collaborations and they’re always doing a good job at selecting companies that will work well with what they are doing. If you are not familiar with the company Brooks they are the ones that make the bike saddles and they have just teamed up with plans for a new shoe and bike saddle back. Today we’re going to be looking at that shoe, this is the new Brooks x Vans Vault Era LX.

The shoes will feature a predominantly navy upper that will sit on top of a white midsole and will feature accents of orange throughout. If you are looking for pair of these, you better act fast because there will only be 2000 units available of the sneaker and 500 units available of the saddle.

Here's a pic of Wong a lawyer cum triathlete in his Facebooked tee taken off the recent POWERMAN 2010 duathlon which was held at Sri Manjung. Wong and another CRAP represent Alvin were part of  DZEUS CYCLNG TEAM which is duly supported by CRAP. The duo  finished with a respectable top half 55th (Wong) and 64th (Alvin) out of 146 local and international contestants.

Nigoldeneye on MTV Japan

Nigoldeneye is a name most may or may not be familiar with, but if you’re one of many cult followers of Nigo and BAPE, then you know about this MTV Japan exclusive series. Created in 2006, this 38 episode show featured the fictional character Harbow and his sidekick Christian, as they conduct interviews with Nigo intact and includes various friends of the BAPE family including Pharrell Williams and the Beastie Boys. The series showed a rarely seen side of creative director Nigo as he laughs, jokes and goes into detail about his inspirations and ideas. Watch all episodes now in Japanese only at MTV Japan.

Birkenstock Japan Limited Edition “Montana”

Birkenstock Japan works up a limited edition version of its Montana shoe, an interesting design that pair suede uppers with a touch of leather. Animated in its shape, the design boasts a rather wide toe cap, fused together with a leather heel wrap. Thin leather laces put everything together atop a flat black outsole. Although not for everyone, there are some that appreciate the hippie Birkenstock look.
